Newly appointed Ethiopian ambassadors receiving training

Addis Ababa, September 14, 2017 (FBC) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) is providing training to recently appointed ambassadors who will represent Ethiopian in various countries.

The training is focused on foreign and national security policies as well as economic and public diplomacies, according to the Ministry.

The newly appointed ambassadors are:

- Kassa Teklebrhanis -Ambassador Plenipotentiary to Washington, USA

- Berhane Ghebre-Christos –Ambassador Plenipotentiary to Beijing, China

- Aster Mamo - Ambassador Plenipotentiary to Ottawa, Canada

- Dr. Shiferaw Teklemariam -Ambassador Plenipotentiary to Pretoria, South Africa

- Prof Merga Bekana Ambassador Plenipotentiary to Stockholm, Sweden

- Tebeje Berhe Ambassador Plenipotentiary to Abu Dhabi, UAE

- Metasebia Tadesse -Ambassador Plenipotentiary to Doha, Qatar

- Prof Admasu Tsegaye Ambassador Plenipotentiary to Jakarta, Indonesia

- Lulit Zewde Ambassador Plenipotentiary to Kigali, Rwanda

- Ali Suleiman Ambassador Plenipotentiary to Paris, France

- Mulugeta Zewde Ambassador Plenipotentiary to Khartoum, Sudan; and

- Ewnetu Bilata Ambassador to Brussels, Belgium
