Vital events registration directive for foreign nationals comes into effect, says MoFA

Addis Ababa, October 12, 2017 (FBC) – The vital events registration directive prepared for foreign nationals and foreign nationals of Ethiopian origin has come into effect, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia (MoFA).

The directive, which was prepared by the Vital Events Registration Agency, will allow foreign nationals in Ethiopia to acquire certificates of marriage, birth, divorce, adoption and death, said a statement the Ministry sent to FBC today.
