Ethiopia, Russia agree to promote cooperation in trade, investment and technology transfer

Addis Ababa, December 18, 2017 (FBC) -Ambassador of Ethiopia to Russia, Grum Abay, held discussions with Vladimir Padalko, vice President of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

In the meeting Ambassador Grum briefed Padalko on the current state of the Ethiopian economy and Ethiopian commercial interest with Russia.

The two sides agreed to promote cooperation’s in the fields of trade, investment and transfer of technology.

In a separate development, the newly appointed Ethiopian Ambassador to the Washington, Kassa Teklebirhan, presented his copies of credentials to Sean P. Lawler, Chief of Protocol of the United States.

The US officials who were present at the event expressed their readiness to work closely with the Ethiopian Embassy.
