Bishoftu gets 100mln birr built veterinary pharmaceutical plant

Addis Ababa, February 27, 2018 (FBC) – A veterinary pharmaceutical plant, which was built at a cost of 100 million birr in Bishoftu town, Oromia regional state, will begin production next Ethiopian fiscal year.

Machines are being installed at the plant, Awel Abdul Jebar, public relations officer at the National Veterinary Institute (NVI) told FBC recently.

The factory will produce medicines worth 90 million birr in the first round, he noted.

The factory is expected to create jobs for about 100 people, it was noted.
