Assets of 210 individuals, 15 companies frozen in connection with corruption

Addis Ababa, August 10, 2017 (FBC) - Assets of 210 individuals and 15 companies that have link with the recently arrested government officials, business persons and brokers on suspicion of corruption, have been frozen.

Among the companies include Asser Construction, DMC Construction, Yemene Girmay General Contractor, Trans National Computer Trading, Haisem Engineering S.C., Kemanic Trading PLC, Jong Ling International Engineering, Gemshu Beyene Construction and Tina Construction.

The measure is part of government’s move to fight against corruption.

The number of suspects arrested in connection with corruption cases has reached 55.
