PM Abiy’s book ‘Yemedemer Menged’ launched
Addis Ababa, March 6, 20 21 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed’s book ‘Yemedemer Menged’ (Path to Medemer) has been inaugurated today.
Published in Amharic and Afan Oromo languages, the book will be available at all bookstores beginning tomorrow.
The Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Demeke Mekonen as well as other government officials and invited guests attended the inauguration ceremony.
“I would like to thank the scholars who presented your reflections, the children who sang songs and all those who participated in organising the launch of the book ‘Yemedemer Menged’ (Path to Medemer), ” the Prime Minister said in a tweet.
“In addition to gaining from the content of the book, every time you buy each book, you are contributing to the expansion of schools in rural Ethiopia,” he added.
The book discusses ongoing reform, challenges and successes made from it as well as dwells with memories of the Prime Minister and the discourses he had with friends.
