Kuwait donates humanitarian supply worth over 7mln ETB to IDPs in Debre Berhan

Addis Ababa, November 26, 2021 (FBC) – The people and government of Kuwait have extended food and non-food items including clothing worth over 7 Million Birr to the displaced people in Debre Berhan town.

Kuwait Direct Aid has handed over food items support such as rice, edible oil and non-food items including blankets to the displaced people in the town who fled their homes in several parts of Amhara region due to the TPLF aggression.

Taha Mohammed, Kuwait Direct Aid Country Director recalled that his government and the people have so far contributed support to Ethiopia in response to COVID 19 and other natural disasters in the country.

Kuwait Direct Aid has so far extended similar assistance to IDPs in Afar Region so far, he said, reiterating the government of his country to enhance cooperation with Ethiopia in several spheres.
