Diaspora raised over $2.2mln through eyezonethiopia.com app for IDPs

Addis Ababa, November 26, 2021 (FBC) – Members of the Ethiopian Diaspora around the world have raised over 2.2 Million USD through eyezonethiopia.com application for IDPs in several parts of Ethiopia who have been affected by aggression of the terrorist TPLF Group.

According to the Ethiopian Diaspora Agency, through the application they developed in partnership with Chapa Financial Technologies, the Diaspora community has managed to raise more than 2 Million USD within less than a month.

Agency said the success clearly manifests how members of the Diaspora community are determined to support their country and people as far as conducive mechanisms are facilitated.

The Agency thanked the Diaspora calling for enhanced mobilizations of resources in response to the humanitarian situation in Ethiopia.
