PM Abiy Ahmed visits Wag Hemra Zone, discusses with community

Addis Ababa, April 23, 2022 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed along with high level government officials has visited the Central Command and communities in Wag Hemra Zone, Amhara Region.

During the discussion with members of the community in the Zone, Prime Minister Abiy appreciated the architectural excellence and philosophical foundations of the Agew people highlighting the importance of capitalizing on these assets and maintaining unity to overcome challenges.

Noting the recent experience of conflict in the vicinity, he emphasized enabling peace entails building peace within with a commitment to becoming peaceful agents.
