NEBE organizes Lessons learned Validation Workshop on the 6th general elections
Addis Ababa, April 28, 2022 (FBC) – National Electoral Board of Ethiopia has organized a Lessons Learned Validation Workshop on the 6th General Elections held in June, 2021.
It is stated on the occasion that the outcomes and best experiences gained through the 6th elections have been properly documented.
Chairperson of National Electoral Board, Birtukan Mideksa noted that the validity workshop will play a significant role in analyzing and arranging best experiences that had been identified through the surveys conducted for future elections.
Birtukan expressed gratitude to all stakeholders who contributed for the successfulness of the electoral process.
UNDP Ethiopia Representative, Turhan Saleh, for his part, said the 6th general election was transparent, inclusive and credible by the public, calling the process the first in its kind in the country.
He further appreciated the National Electoral Board of Ethiopia for its commitment and outstanding contribution for the election.
