Ethiopian Airlines MRO converts B 767 passenger into cargo

Addis Ababa, April 29, 2022 (FBC) –Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Service of Ethiopian Airlines celebrated a milestone on B 767 passenger to cargo conversion yesterday as the first conversion site in Africa, in collaboration with Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI).

Ambassador of Israel to Ethiopia Aleligne Admasu and Ethiopian Group CEO Mesfin Tasew and guest attended the celebration.

The conversion of the B 767 passenger aircraft to cargo is another marvelous achievement in our MRO services, which also makes Ethiopian Airlines a pioneer in the continent.

The Aircraft will be ready for cargo service after the completion of the full conversion within two months, the Airlines said.
