Ongoing peace initiative in Ethiopia key for sustainable peace, prosperity: Germany

Addis Ababa, June 30, 2022 (FBC) – Foreign Affairs Ministry of Germany called on all parties in Ethiopia to step up negotiation, calling the ongoing peace initiative a key for sustainable peace and prosperity in the country.

The German Govornment highlighted the significance of the initiatives taken by the Government of Ethiopia to resolve the conflict with TPLF with peaceful mechanism, calling for acceleration of the process.

Implementation of the peace negotiation would help ensure peace, reconciliation and prosperity not only in Tigray region but also the whole population in Ethiopia, the Ministry said.
