Anthony Blinken arrives in Ethiopia for a working visit

Addis Ababa, March 15, 2023 (FBC) – US Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived late Tuesday in Ethiopia.

State Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mesganu Arga warmly received the Secretary of State Antony Blinken upon his arrival at Bole International Airport.

The State Secretary is expected to discuss with high officials on activities being carried out to ensure lasting peace in the northern part of the country and the implementation of the peace agreement.

He will also meet with humanitarian aid operators and representatives of civil society organizations to discuss the delivery of aid, food security and human rights issues.

Antony Blinken is also expected to hold a meeting with Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Moussa Faki Mahamat.
