According to the council, three problem-solving mechanisms are put in place so as to address the existing and new political challenges resulted from recent circumstances such as the conflict in the northern part of the country: the National Dialogue, the Transitional Justice and the National Rehabilitation processes.

The statement said 12,294 people have already been selected from 679 Woredas to participate in the National Dialogue process.
