Addis Ababa city council approves appointment of officials
Addis Ababa, October 20, 2020 (FBC) – The Addis Ababa city council has approved the appointment of the following officials who were nominated by Adanech Abiebie, deputy mayor of the city.
- Tiratu Beyene- Head of Addis Ababa City Manager’s Bureau with the Rank of Deputy Mayor
- Meskerem Feleke- Head of Housing Development and Management Bureau
- Engineer Ayalnesh H/Mariam -Head of Construction Bureau
- Dr Meskerem Mengistu- Commissioner of Planning Commission
- Dr Milkesa Jagama-Head of Land Development and Management Bureau
- Dr Muluken Habtu- Head of Industry Bureau
- Tefera Mola- Head of Labour and Social Affairs Bureau
- Mulugeta Tefera- Head of Revenues Bureau
In a related development, the city administration collected close to 10 billion birr in revenue and created 43,000 jobs in the first quarter of this Ethiopian fiscal year.
