Addis Ababa Incorporates Cabinet Members from Competing Political Parties
Addis Ababa, September 28, 2021 (FBC) – Though the winner of the 6th general election is Prosperity Party, the Addis Ababa City Government today has drawn its two cabinet members from the competing political parties.
Accordingly, Girma Seifu of Ethiopian Citizens for Social Justice was appointed head of Investment Commission and while Yesuf Ebrahim of Amhara National Movement made head of Public Property Administration Authority of Addis Ababa.
The new council today has also approved amendments made to the Addis Ababa City Government Executive and Municipal Service Organs Re-establishment Proclamation in majority votes.
