Addis Ababa involving 25,000 youths in clean up, beautification campaign

Addis Ababa, March 3, 2021 (FBC) – Addis Ababa City Administration is involving 25,000 youths in clean up and beautification campaign aimed at making the capital a chosen tourism and investment destination.

Addis Ababa Solid Waste Management agency stated that the youths who have been nominated as Addis Ababa’s beatification and clean up campaign are engaged in environmental protection and cleaning up activities in the capital.

Artists, public figures, sport communities and various segments of the community are expected to actively participate in the beatification and clean up campaign to run for two months ahead.

The Solid Waste Management agency stated that disburses half a Million Birr to collect and dispose in landfill sites adding that it has been undertaking various activities to recycle wastes to other important products.
