Addis Ababa to be restructured in to 11 sub cities

Addis Ababa, October 20, 2020 (FBC) – Addis Ababa City Council, on its 8th year 1st regular session, has passed a draft proclamation to restructure the city in to 11 sub cities establishing an additional one named “Lemi Kura”

The Council has also approved an appointment of Zerfeshiwal Nigussie as a speaker replacing Abebech Negash who has been to the position for the past two and half years.

The council is also supposed to approve appointments of several officials to different leadership positions in the city administration.

Addis Ababa consists of 10 Sub Cities which contain an aggregate of 116 Woredas under their structure.
