The initiative, which covers a vast area of 2,879 hectares of land, boasts an ambitious construction agenda. A total of 477 km of roads, including 240 km of asphalt roads and 237 km of pedestrian walkways, are currently under construction, set to transform the city’s transportation network. Moreover, the corridor development encompasses a plethora of public recreational spaces, including 32 children’s parks, 79 public recreational spaces, and 114 car parking centers.

Embracing sustainability and green mobility, the project will introduce electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in 58 locations and create over 100 km of bike lanes, encouraging residents to opt for eco-friendly transportation options. The corridor development also prioritizes health and wellness, with the construction of 17 sports centers, providing ample opportunities for citizens to engage in physical activities.

As part of the development, two riverside projects are being developed, extending from Entoto–Kebena–Genfile Peacock and Entoto–Friendship–Peacock.
