Afar State Council Brings Awol Arba to Presidency

Addis Ababa, September 30, 2021 (FBC) – The Afar State Council, forming the new government, has elected Awol Arba president of the region.

It is to be recalled that Awol has earlier served as president of the state.

The council also elected Asiya Kemal its Speaker. And Meirem Mohammed was elected her deputy.
