African Ambassadors in China keen on working in cooperation with Ethiopia

Addis Ababa March 11, 2023 (FBC) –The newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ethiopia to the People’s Republic of China, Tefera Derbew arrived in Beijing to assume his official post.

According to Embassy of Ethiopia Beijing, up on arrival the Ambassador has been warmly welcomed in the airport by Ambassador Dawano Kedir, Charge d’Affair and Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy with the staff and the Dean of African Ambassadors as well as African Resident Ambassadors in the People’s Republic of China, the Ambassadors of Cameron, Namibia, Botswana, South Sudan, Mali and representative of the African Union.

The embassy in its social media post indicated that having introduced themselves, the African Ambassadors expressed their best wishes and interest to work together with Ambassador Tefera for the common goal.

It added that the newly arrived Ambassador Tefera Derbew on his part expressed his gratitude and pleasure to work with the African resident Ambassadors in China.
