Ambassador Affirms commitment of Ethiopia to support African Borderland Center

Addis Ababa, February 11, 2021 (FBC) – United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Regional Bureau has today launched African Borderland Center in Lodawar, Turkana County of Kenya.

Speaking on the occasion, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ethiopia to Kenya, Meles Alem reaffirmed the commitment the Government of Ethiopia to support the center by elevating voices of people from the borderlands.

Meles also commended EU and UNDP for the support on Ethio-Kenya border development using local resources and conflict resolution mechanisms.
