Ambassador lauds EIC’s role in strengthening partnership between Ethiopia, China

Addis Ababa, December 22, 2022 (FBC) – The Chinese Ambassador to Ethiopia, Zhao Zhiyuan discussed with Ethiopian Investment Commissioner Lelise Neme on how to enhance partnership between Ethiopia and China.

Extending gratitude to the Chinese Government and Embassy for their continued support, Commissioner Lelise explained about mandate of Ethiopian Investment Commission (EIC) and continuous support in creating a conducive environment for foreign investments in Ethiopia.

Zhao also highlighted the strategic relevance of EIC for strengthening the bilateral political and economic partnerships of Ethiopia and China.

The Chinese Embassy donated 2 coaster vehicles to EIC that provide transportation services to the Commission’s staff and office equipment.
