A 43mln birr project tailored to restore health care services in conflict affected areas launched

Addis Ababa, January 22, 2022 (FBC) – A Humanitarian and Emergency Project tailored to restore health care services in conflict affected areas has been launched with 43 million birr budget.

The project which is initiated by Ministry of Health in partnership with Family Guidance Association of Ethiopia and other partners is intended to restore health care services affected by conflicts particularly in Amhara, Afar and Benshangul Gumuz Regions.

In his opening remarks at the launching event, the Health State Minister Dr. Dereje Duguma underlined that the restoration of the health care services damaged by the terrorist TPLF Group cannot be achieved the efforts of the government alone, calling stakeholders to back the endeavors to this end.

Officials from the Ministry of Health and the Family Guidance Association of Ethiopia have attended the launching event.
