Addis Ababa, May 25, 2021 (FBC) – In his written message over the African Day 2021, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed highlighted challenges in nation’s path to prosperity.
“The road to a new prosperous nation is bound to have its own rough patches”, the premier underlined.
The premier has recollected the great achievements of Abebe Bikila, the first Black African Olympic Gold Medalist paraphrasing: “even the smoothest of roads will give blisters to the barefoot, what matters is the clarity of vision and “barefooted” determination to stay on the course.”
Africa Day 2021 is being celebrated across the world commemorating the founding of the Organization of African Unity on May 25, 1963.
