Addis Ababa, April 8, 2024 (FBC) – Ethiopia’s Minister of Industry, Melaku Alebel, engaged in consultations with Albert Muchanga, Commissioner for Trade and Industry African Union Commission, regarding avenues for collaboration in the industry sector.
It was stated that the deliberations centered on strategies to advance industrial modernization through symbiotic relations of agriculture and industry as key drivers of economic growth.
Mr. Melaku expounded during the discussion that fostering collaboration at the continental level is imperative for the advancement of the African industry, in addition to the exchange of best practices.
In response, Commissioner Albert Muchanga affirmed his commission is dedicated to backing the country’s industrial sector and fostering collaboration.
Furthermore, he extended an invitation to Ethiopia to partake in the Industry Week Exhibition organized by the African Union.
