Addis Ababa, November 8, 2021 (FBC) – The African Union Commission has said that social media reports saying Chairman Moussa Faki had called for temporary relocation of staff and offices are false.
In a statement on Sunday, the AU chairman’s spokesperson Ebba Kalondo said the report purported to be an internal memo calling for their relocation from Ethiopia has no basis.
“The said report is fake news and has no basis in fact nor form,” he said.
