Addis Ababa, October 21, 2020 (FBC) -Captain Kalkidan Girma has become the first Ethiopian female Captain of Airbus A350.
Ethiopian Airlines (Ethiopian) congratulated Captain Kalkidan on her achievement.
Prior to her current promotion, she has been a Captain on the Boeing 737.
Ethiopian has been operating all-female flights since 2015. It has so far flown to Bangkok, Kigali, Lagos, Buenos Aires, Oslo and Washington DC with all female crew.
