Addis Ababa, April 18, 2024 (FBC) – Commissioner of the National Rehabilitation Commission, Temesgen Tilhun, received at his office the Minister Counsellor for Economic and Commercial Affairs at Chinese Embassy in Addis Ababa, Yang Yihang today.
The Commissioner briefed the Chinese diplomat on major activities the institution has been undertaking to fulfill its mandate.
Saying that the commission’s planned activities require substantial resources, coordination and cooperation, the Commissioner asked the Chinese government to provide support for the institution to achieve its goals.
Minister Counsellor Yang Yihang, for his part, said that the Chinese government has been involved in supporting Ethiopia’s multifaceted peace and development efforts, pledging continued support for the reintegration and rehabilitation of ex-combatants.
