Addis Ababa, April 19, 2021 (FBC) –The Ministry of Defence has announced the establishment of a Command Post in Oromo Special Zone woredas in North Shoa and South Wollo zones.
The establishment of the Command Post comes following the recent instability in the zones, according to a statement issued by the Ministry yesterday.
The Ministry expressed its condolences over the loss of lives and destruction of properties occurred as a result of an armed violence in Ataye town and its environs.
It said it will do all to ensure rule of law by taking measures against those forces of destruction responsible for the instability happened in the areas.
The Ministry added it has begun taking measures against those responsible for conflicts happened in various parts of the country and resulted in the loss of lives and properties.
