Addis Ababa, December 14, 2019 (FBC) –Minister of Peace, Muferihat Kamil, former Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn and IGAD Executive Secretary Dr Workneh Gebeyehu arrived in Qatar to attend the 2019 Doha Forum.
The Forum will be held from December 14-15 under the theme: “Reimagining Governance in a Multipolar World”.
Ahead of the two-day event, the Minister of Peace and the former Prime Minister visited the Ethiopian Community International School in Doha.
The Community School, which is now under maintenance, will be completed in the coming three week and begin enrolling students next academic year.
The school was established two years ago upon the request presented by the former Prime Minister Hailemariam to the Qatari Government.
The Doha Forum was established in 2000 as a platform for global dialogue on critical global challenges.
The Forum brings together a distinguished group of leaders, thinkers and policy makers to redefine a global governance that addresses key needs.
