Addis Ababa, December 26, 2020 (FBC) – Innovation and Technology Ministry stated that E-Governance, Digital ID and E-Commerce are among the major areas which have been given due attention by the national digital transformation program.
The ministry reviewed activities being carried out to ensure that Ethiopia is well digitalized in the near future.
While identifying the major bottlenecks in the digitalization process, leadership and employees of the ministry stressed need to further coordination among concerned institutions and stakeholders to achieve the goals set ahead of the national program.
Innovation and Technology State Minister Ahmedin Muhammed said that the digitalization process is not only bound to the national demand but also stipulated by the global digital transformation trend.
