Addis Ababa, May 19, 2023 (FBC) –Ethiopian Coffee and Tea Authority (ECTA) has shared its experience on coffee reform and overall development and marketing activities in Ethiopia to delegations from the Kenyan Vice President’s Office.
It was explained on the occasion that the reason for the exchange of experience was for the preparation of new coffee reform in Kenya.
The members of the delegation said that the changes that Ethiopia has brought about in the coffee sector in the last four years are significant, adding that they are interested in learning the experience.
Officials from ECTA explained in detail about Ethiopia’s coffee reform and pointed out that the country’s experience could be useful for Kenya’s new coffee reform.
In relation to coffee Development and cultivation, the extension director in the authority, Fekadu Deferes, gave an explanation to the delegates.
The delegations visited the coffee training center located at the Authority.
