Addis Ababa, December 17, 2020 (FBC) -The 5th session of the joint Ethiopian-Algerian Ministerial Committee will be held in Addis Ababa soon, said Ethiopian Ambassador to Algeria.
The meeting was postponed due to the coronavirus disease outbreak.
“We plan to hold it once this epidemic ends,” Ambassador Nebiat Getachew in an exclusive interview with El-Chaab newspaper, Algeria’s Arabic language daily.
He said the meeting will bring together high level government officials and prominent business persons from both countries, thereby creating a platform for future cooperation between the two countries.
The ambassador described the Ethio-Algerian relation as excellent, and added it could be further strengthened in the future, especially on the economic sector, if Algerian investors invest in several areas, especially the pharmaceutical and food industries in Ethiopia.
He further talked about the humanitarian assistance, resettlement and rehabilitation works underway in Tigray regional state following the end of law the enforcement operation in the region.
