Addis Ababa, June 12, 2023 (FBC) – Ethiopian Embassy in collaboration with the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted the Ethio-Türkiye investment forum in Bursa city, the Ethiopian Embassy in Ankara stated.
According to the Embassy, the forum aims to promote the Ethiopian investment opportunities and incentives to foreign companies. It is noted that the event brought together the investors from Bursa city and suburbs engaged in manufacturing, construction, energy, agriculture and export.
In his remarks at the event, Ethiopian Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary to Türkiye Adem Mohammed highlighted the friendly relations between Ethiopia and Türkiye and presented the enticing investment and business opportunities in his country.
He stated that the investment and trade forum organized in Bursa will further strengthen the trade and investment ties between the two countries, highlighting the investment opportunities, reforms, focus areas, and incentives.
The Ambassador assured the participants that the Embassy will provide the necessary support to all Turkish investors who want to invest in Ethiopia.
Demonstrating the profile and activities of the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI/BTSO) and its subsidiaries engaged in various sectors across the world, the BCCI General Secretary Mrs. Gülçin Güleç stated that organizing this kind of business forum together with the embassy will help to further increase the trade and investment relations between the two countries.
