Addis Ababa, December 30, 2021 (FBC) – Ethiopia’s Ambassador to Algeria, Nebiat Getachew had a meeting on Wednesday with Youssef Delileche, Director General of African Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Algeria.
The two sides discussed bilateral, regional, and multilateral issues of common concern. Ambassador Nebiyat commended the government of Algeria for hosting the 8th High-Level Seminar on Peace and Security in Africa held recently in Oran, Algeria.
Ambassador Nebiat spoke in detail on the atrocities committed by the TPLF, the unjustified media campaign launched against Ethiopia, and the need for Africans to forge a joint front to advance common interests.
Youssef Delileche, on his part, underscored the need to strengthen ties between the two countries. He noted Ethiopia’s capacity to meet challenges that do not warrant external intervention.
