Ethiopia confirms three more COVID-19 cases

Addis Ababa, April 21, 2020 (FBC) –Ethiopia has reported three new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19), out of the 745 samples tested over the past 24 hours.

This brings the total cases in the country to 114.

One of the three confirmed cases is a Chinese national residing in the town of Sebeta, Oromia regional state, according to the Ministry of Health.

Ethiopia has so far registered three deaths and 16 recoveries from the virus.

According to the latest figures from Johns Hopkins University, close to 2.5 million cases of coronavirus have been registered globally.

More than 171,000 people have died and more than 656,000 have recovered from the virus.
