Ethiopia participates in 38th Int’l Trade Fair of Khartoum

Addis Ababa, January (FBC) -Ethiopia is participating in the 38th Khartoum International Trade Exhibition that kicked off yesterday.

The exhibition was inaugurated by the Cabinet Minister of Sudan, Ambassador Omar Manis, in the presence of other senior Sudanese government officials and the diplomatic community.

The Deputy Head of Mission of Embassy of Ethiopia in Khartoum, Mekonnen Gossaye, attended the inauguration and Ethiopian Traditional Coffee Ceremony along with the Sudanese Cabinet Minister Ambassador Omar Manis, Economy and Finance Minister Dr. Hiba Mohamed, and Trade & Industry Minister Madani Abbas Madani.

Embassies of various countries in Sudan, as well as companies from different countries, are participating in the exhibition.

The Exhibition enables, the Embassy to promote Ethiopian trade, investment, and tourism opportunities as well as to conduct its campaign themed under Rising Ethiopia.

In addition, Ethiopian companies engaged in Small and Medium-scale Industries such as textile and garment, leather products, traditional food and agro-processing, construction materials production are promoting their products to visitors.

The two-weeks long exhibition will increase trade ties between the two countries and create business networking and market opportunities for their products.
