Addis Ababa, October 31, 2023 (FBC) – State Minister Ambassador Mesganu Arga, received and held discussions with Francisco André, the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Portugal.
The meeting marked the second joint political consultation between the two states, paving the way for enhanced collaboration and diplomatic ties between the two countries, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia.
During the meeting, key areas of mutual interest and concern were addressed by both representatives. Ambassador Mesganu Arga reaffirmed Ethiopia’s commitment to fostering strong bilateral relations with Portugal.
Both parties expressed their commitment to exploring avenues for increased cooperation with a focus in the areas of political cooperation, trade and investment, tourism, education as well as regional and international matters of shared interests.
