Addis Ababa, September 1, 2020 (FBC) –Ethiopia yesterday registered 1,009 new cases of the coronavirus (COVID19), bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 52, 131.
The new cases were identified out of the 19,364 laboratory tests conducted in 24 hours.
The country also reported 16 deaths from the virus, taking the total death toll to 809.
A total of 612 patients have recovered from the virus to take the number of recoveries to 18,994.
The country has so far conducted 910, 293 laboratory tests.
