First Lady office inaugurates two high schools in Assosa

Addis Ababa, January 22, 2021 (FBC) –Ethiopia’s First Lady, Zinash Tayachew, today inaugurated two high schools built by her office in Assosa woreda, Benishangul Gumuz regional state.

Chief Administrator of the regional state, Ashadli Hassen, and other officials attended the inauguration of the schools built at a cost of 13.8 million birr.

The schools, which have administration buildings, classrooms, laboratories, libraries, meeting halls, and toilets, can enrol 1,600 students in two shifts.

Office of the First Lady has so far built 10 high schools across the country.It will also inaugurate additional schools soon.

The Office further said it will start soon the construction of schools in areas where there is no access to education.
