Addis Ababa, June 14, 2021 (FBC) – A team of Officials and Experts from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ethiopian Electric Power and Investment Commission held pre-investment virtual meeting with renewable energy companies; WSB and SolarStone on solar power development to be carried out in Simali regional state.
WSB and SolarStone have already expressed interest to invest in Ethiopia in the areas of renewable energy sector.
During the virtual consultation, WSB and Solarstone announced that they have conducted feasibility studies and completed preparations to join the Ethiopian market and embark on the implementation phase in the country.
The solar energy Grids to be installed in Somali Region by the two companies will have a capacity of generating a total of 200MW of electric power.
