Addis Ababa, February 17,2023 (FBC) – President of Guinea Bissau, Umaro Sissoco Embalo, has visited the Ethiopian Artificial Intelligence Institute (AII) Headquarters in Addis Ababa.
Director General of AII, Worku Gachena, briefed the President on the activities Ethiopia has been undertaking to enable the sector to contribute to the development aspirations of the country.
President Umaro Sissoco Embalo appreciated Ethiopia’s investment on the AI sector with a view to streamline major development activities in the agriculture, health and financial sectors with support of up to date technologies.
Umaro Sissoco Embalo added “Ethiopia has been undertaking exemplary activities that must be expanded in other nations to achieve technology transfer goals of the continent.”
