KOICA, IOM team up to improve livelihoods of 600,000 disaster-affected people in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa March 16, 2023 (FBC) – Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) has partnered with International Organization for Migration (IOM) to improve livelihoods of 600,000 people affected by manmade and natural disasters in Ethiopia.

IOM Ethiopia officials have held discussion with KOICA representatives, Korean CSOs, and Research Team from Korea on implementation of the joint initiative.

During the discussion, it was stated that based on the three year joint project collaboration, IOM and KOICA are working together to improve social cohesion and economic livelihoods for 600,000 crisis-affected people in Ethiopia particularly in Oromia and Somali Regions.
