Addis Ababa, October 15, 2020 (FBC) – Ethiopian National Accreditation Service Office has issued accreditation to four medical laboratories which met standard requirements.
Wolayta Sodo University Teachers Referral Hospital, Debre Birhan Referral Hospital Laboratory, Armed Forces General Specialized Hospital and Shashemene Referral Hospital have got ISO 15189 from the Office, it is indicated.
The Medical laboratories has applied for the accreditation before the first Coronavirus pandemic case was reported in the country and undergone field and document assessment steps to obtain the certification.
The laboratories are expected to render services with their utmost capacity after they pass all the necessary assessment steps, the office indicated.
