Addis Ababa, February 25, 2021 (FBC) – German Development Cooperation in partnership with Orange has opened Orange Digital Center Ethiopia at ICT Park in Addis Ababa.
The digital center is said crucial to offer online training to the youth and capacitate job creation efforts underway in the country.
It is also indicated that the digital center will have a paramount significance in integrating activities of Innovation and Technology Ministry, Investment Commission and Industrial Parks Development Corporation towards enhancing innovation and creativity for common national benefit.
Innovation and Technology Minister, Dr. Abrham Belay and Investment Commissioner, Lelise Neme, representatives of GIZ and other partners have presided over the launching of the digital center.
Orange Digital Center Ethiopia, the first in its kind in Eastern Africa, is believed to enhance the digital ecosystem in the country.
