PM Abiy Ahmed inaugurates Africa Leadership Excellence Academy

Addis Ababa, June 26, 2021 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has inaugurated the African Leadership Excellence Academy in Sululta town.

The academy will serve as capacity building hub where trainings will be given to high level leaders of various sectors of the country and the region at large.

The cornerstone of the center built at a cost of 2.2 billion Birr at 40 ha of land was laid in March 2019 as the construction has been carried out within two years.

On the inaugural ceremony, the Prime Minister said the academy will be a place where diplomats, leaders of both the public and private sector and military personnel. The academy has a vision to serve african nations in capacity building sector.

High government officials, members of the diplomatic community including diplomats from Chinese Embassy and community representatives have attended the inauguration ceremony.
