Premier urges Ethiopians to use polling day to exercise civic duties, leave generational print

Addis Ababa, June 14, 2021 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed called up on Ethiopians to exercise their civic duty and leave a generational print through the upcoming general elections.

“A week from today, Ethiopians we will cast our vote in the 6th National Elections, which will be the nation’s first attempt at free and fair elections” the Premier said.

He added saying “As we go to the polls to exercise our democratic rights, I ask all Ethiopians to use the day to exercise our civic duty and leave a generational print”

The Prime Minister further urged Ethiopians to actively participate in the already started national tree planting campaign thereby contribute to the successfulness of the Green Legacy Initiative.
