President Holds Discussion With WFP Chief, Investors From Japan And China

Addis Ababa, December 13, 2019 (FBC) -President Sahle-Work Zewde held talks with David Beasley, Executive Director of the World Food Program.

The two discussed the current and planned activities of the World Food Program in Ethiopia.

Similarly, the President received a delegation of investors from Japan and China.

The investors, who have already made substantial investments in Ethiopia, have expressed a desire to increase their investments in the country.

The President noted that the Ethiopian government is working to create a conducive environment for foreign investment.

President Sahle-Work also received Peter Dutton, the Minister of Home Affairs of the Australian government.

The Minister expressed his country’s interest in strengthening and deepening the ties between the two nations.

The President also highlighted the various areas of potential cooperation between the two nations.
