Prime Minister Abiy visits Saidal Pharmaceutical Factory in Algiers

Addis Ababa, August 23, 2014 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed along with his delegation has visited Saidal Pharmaceutical Factory in the capital Algiers.

The Prime Minister is on a two-day official visit to the North African country from yesterday.

The factory, which has been established 40 years ago, is producing 200 types of medicines and is also mentioned as the largest in its kind in Africa.

The leaders of the factory told Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed that the company is working to connect Africa through medicine supply, announcing a plan to export products to Ethiopia.

The Premier has visited this moring the Martyrs Monument in the capital Algiers and laid a wreath at the place.

During his stay in Algeria, Prime Minister Abiy is expected to meet with the country’s president, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and discuss way to cement bilateral relationship between the two countries.
